The Charles Darwin Trust was set up in 1999 for the advancement of scientific thought and education, with the life of Charles Darwin as its inspiration. The Charles Darwin Trust is the fundraising body for the Charles Darwin Forum, proposed world centre for science and education at Downe in Kent.
