Join BGEN

Join BGEN for full access to our resources and for discounts on workshops. BGEN offers you and your organisation the opportunity to share and improve skills, knowledge and resources through:

• Value-for-money training workshops and networking events with special rates for members;
• A member directory;
• Regular email updates;
• The opportunity to work together globally for plant conservation through strong links with related organisations, including PlantNetwork (the Plant Collections Network of Britain and Ireland) and Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI);
• Representation of botanical education and our members’ interests at a national level;
• Voting rights at BGEN General Meetings.

Joining BGEN is easy!

Simply download the 2012 BGEN membership form (PDF/382kb or Word version 360kb) and return to the BGEN Administrator at the address included on the form.

Annual membership fees (calendar year, January to December):

N.B. Large organisations who wish to have more than 10 members can take out more than one institutional membership. Additionally, all staff (paid or volunteer) at your organisation are entitled to attend BGEN events at the member rate. Where only individual membership is held by a member(s) of an organisation, other colleagues pay the non-member rate to attend BGEN events.

Membership criteria

Members agree to accept the Articles and Memorandum of Association for BGEN as a Limited Company, and to act in accordance with its rules and regulations. These are available on request from the BGEN Administrator.
